MX-Clear in detail
MX-Clear is the cocktail of the FORMA MX range formulated for oily and acne-prone skin. Its declared composition is built around niacinamide, azelamidopropyl dimethylamine, salicylic acid, allantoin and Olea europaea (olive) callus extracellular vesicles, with sodium hyaluronate and panthenol. FORMA MX is supplied as a Professional Multi-vial Treatment: three 10 ml sterile vials in a drawer-style box, for superficial mesotherapy performed by qualified medical practitioners. Made in Italy by Forma S.R.L.S. under ISO 13485 and ISO 22716.
The azelaic active is a derivative — and it is not azeloglycine. MX-Clear declares azelamidopropyl dimethylamine, a derivative of azelaic acid. It does not declare potassium azeloyl diglycinate, which is the ingredient usually meant by azeloglycine. The two are routinely confused when products are compared on ingredient lists, so the distinction is stated here rather than left to inference.
What the formulation is organised around. Niacinamide and the azelaic derivative are the two principal actives, with salicylic acid as the declared beta-hydroxy acid and allantoin as a soothing agent. Callus extracellular vesicles are plant-derived carriers obtained from cultured plant callus tissue; in the FORMA MX range they appear as Crocus sativus (saffron) or Olea europaea (olive) callus extracellular vesicles. Dextrin, polydextrose and amylopectin appear in the composition as formulation components. Sodium hyaluronate and panthenol provide the hydrating base common to the range.
How it is used. MX-Clear is intended for superficial mesotherapy, administered by a qualified practitioner who determines technique, depth, session count and interval. Suitability for a given patient — including skin sensitivity to salicylic acid or to azelaic derivatives — is a matter of clinical judgement.
